The 8th Burgess Hill Scout Troop is a busy troop with with approximately 25 scouts. Although the Scout Association is a unisex organisation, we haven’t currently got any girls in the troop - something we aim to change! We are located in Burgess Hill, near to St Edward's Church.

Throughout the year we carry out a wide and varying range of activities, although special emphasis is placed on camping and outdoor activities. The scouts are keen to gain badges and often they are some of the more unusual badges, fire safety and pioneer to name two of them. Aside from this recently we have awarded the second 50 nights away (camping) badge and also we have had the pleasure of awarding 4 Chief Scout Gold awards (The highest in the scout section).
